For more than 20 years, I have run the gamut of basic retail—corporate retail, store management, sales promotion—as well as some things out-of-the-ordinary. For example, I landed the plum assignment of visual display manager for the internationally recognized,
five-star Coeur d’Alene Resort. That led to private, holiday and formal event design work for select clients, as well as event planning. In 2002, I turned my attention toward the educational field and earned a degree in Education with an endorsement in Family and Consumer Sciences. To that end, I taught such things as Apparel, Design and Merchandising; Careers and Personal Development; and Food and Nutrition, but my greatest pride comes from Leadership Curriculum that I design to include ALL students’ not just officers. I went on to achieve my Maters in Administration in 2015 with a strong emphasis in Career and Technical Education.
Now I am changing gears with my career. Although I have been successful enough regionally, I know there is more. I strive be in the company of such high achievements. With an emphasis in strategies for success, strategic planning, leadership, and making a positive difference in people’s lives academically and professionally.
